MES Software: Asset Management - Equipment

Equipment States (SEMI E10)

Equipment within EZ-MES is always in one of the 6 basic states as defined in SEMI E10: Productive, Engineering, Standby, Unscheduled Down, Scheduled Down and Non-Scheduled Time. An additional state 'Scrapped' (not an SEMI E10 state) is added for equipment that is taken out of service.

Equipment State Values

Equipment States can have one of the following values:

Equipment States Can have one of the SEMI E10 States: Productive, Engineering, Standby, Unscheduled Down, Scheduled Down and Non-Scheduled Time
  • Standby:

    Equipment has to be in the Standby state before it can be used for run flows.

  • Productive:

    When equipment is used on run flows, the state of the equipment will automatically change from Standby to Productive when the Operator starts the job.

  • Engineering:
