Getting Started Example - Create New Equipment Definition
Before you can start adding your equipment into the system you have to
create Equipment Definitions. Equipment Definitions
can be seen as Equipment Categories or Equipment Types. An Equipment Definition does
NOT represent real equipment. Real world equipment is represented by
Equipment Records. More about
Equipment Records records later.
Create a new Equipment Definition with the following information:
- Name (Tool Type): Pt IR Metal Deposition
- Number (Tool Type): EQ-DEP-01
- Revision: A
NOTE: The combination of Name and Number has to be unique.
When you are done your
Equipment Definition Form should show the following:
