Getting Started Example - Create New Equipment Records

We will create 2 Equipment Records for 2 Pt IR Metal Deposition Machines.

Create Flow Record

To Create the Equipment Records, we first create a new Flow Record by opening the 'Make New Pt IR Metal Deposition Tool' Flow Definition. On the Flow Defintion Form we use the 'Start Flow Record' section to create a new Flow Record.

This is shown in the following figure:

The Flow Record is created by taking the following two steps:

1. Select the EQ-DEP-01 Part Definition from the 'Requested Part' Pulldown.

   All other fields can remain empty.

2. Click the 'Create new Flow Record' button.

This will open the Flow Record Form. From this form the Equipment Records can be created.

Create Equipment Record

The following figure shows how Equipment Records are create on the Flow Record.

The Equipment Records are created by taking the following steps:

1. Fill out the quantity of record you would like to create (2)
2. Press the 'Create Equipmnent Records' Button
3. Fill out the Unique Names for the Equipment
4. Press the 'Sign Off' button to move the Flow Record to the next step.

Assign other attributes

By moving the Flow Record through all the steps all the attributes are assigned as is shown in the following figure:

Additional Notes

Another way to create Equipment Records (after you creaed your Make Equipment Flow Definition) is to use the Inventory Adjustment form. The Make Equipment
