Assigning and changing Equipment Attributes

This page describes how Equipment Attributes can be assigned to Equipment Records and how the Attribute values can be changed.

There are different kind of attributes on an Equipment Record

• Standard Attributes

Change your custom attributes

There are 2 ways to change the values of your custom attributes:

• Use the Edit Tab on the Equipment Record Form.
• Use a Flow Record

It is important to know that the 'Flow Record' method keeps a full historic history that is displayed in the history of the Equipment Record, and in the Equipment Report. For the 'Direct Edit' no visible record of the change is kept. The EZ-MES system however stores the old value as an historic value.

So we higly recommend to use the 'Flow Record' method to make changes to the Equipment Attributes.
