MES Software: Asset Management in EZ-MES
MES and Equipment Management Integration
Equipment Definitions can be linked to Step Definitions as a Name-Value Pair
of the Equipment Type. This link
will define the equipment that needs to be used to perform the operation that is
defined by the
Step Definition. As most functionality in EZ-MES you first have to define
the
Equipment Definition. After creating the Equipment Definitions
the Equipment Records (equipment
instances) can be created.
Link the Equipment Definition to the Step Definition
In case you would like to know which piece of equipment is being used for which
operation, and which parts were affected you have to connect your Equipment Definition
to the operation where this type of equipment is being used. This way the operator
of the operation will be asked to select the piece of equipment she is using during
the operation. Remember before you can start tracking equipment you first have to
create your Equipment Records.
