MES Software: Asset Management in EZ-MES

User interface for Asset Management

All functionality for the Asset Management can be accessed through a number of standard user interface objects:

• Desktops
• Popup Forms / Dialogs (Normally used to access a single instance of an EZ-MES Object)
• Listbox (used to list all instances of EZ-MES Objects)

Asset Management Desktops

The Asset Management is controlled through 2 different Desktops:

• Equipment Configuration Desktop
• Equipment Execution Desktop

Equipment Configuration Desktop

From the Equipment Configuration Desktop the following functions are controlled:

• Definition of the different equipment types
• Definition of Flows and Operations for:
  1. New Equipment Releases

     These Flow Definitions are used to create new equipment instances based on existing Equipment Definitions, During this flow the values for the custom equipment attributes are set.

  2. Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance
  3. Run flows (flows that operate on parts during production)
