Browsers and Browser tips
The application runs on any browser we know of and on any operating
system supporting these browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6 and up (Although it runs in IE 6, we recommend to use at least IE 7)
- Mozilla Firefox 2 and up
- Apple Safari
- Google Chrome
- Opera
Using one of these browsers you can run it on Microsoft Windows, the
different flavors of Linux, and Apple Mac.
To get the best possible experience we recommend the following:
- Google Chrome gives the best performance, followed by FireFox 3
- Run the browser in full screen mode by pressing F11
- Turn of the hiding of the tool bar in FireFox (see below)
How to run EZ-MES in full screen mode
To start EZ-MES and run it in Full Screen mode, take the following steps:
- Start the browser (preferably Google Chrome)
- Go to the EZ-MES page
- Press F11 to run the browser in Full Screen Mode
- In case of FireFox, when the address bar is not shown at the top of the screen: move
your mouse to the top of the screen (the address bar will appear). Click your right
mouse button, and uncheck the 'Hide Toolbars'. This will make sure that the screen
stays at fixed position if you (accidentally) move your mouse to the top of the screen.

- Make sure that the browser is only displaying a single tab. (This will make the
application run faster and that there is more desktop space.)
