How to Reposition a part of a Lot to a new Traveler
A number of chips of a lot can be moved to a reject traveler by using the
reposition feature of EZ-MES. This reposition feature allows to move any part
or part of lot to a new or to an existing Traveler.
The reposition can change the Part Definition of a part. In this case the
Part Definition of JSI-OA741 has different states. One of the states is
JSI-OA741-Reject. By using this different state the part will clearly show
up in the inventory report as being rejected.
The following screen
shots show how 12 parts of a Lot are moved to a Reject Traveler.
Open the Part Grabber and select the Flow, Part, Step and Traveler:
Select the part, quantity and press the execute button:
